Discovering Paradise is part of anyone's journey to Hawaii. These are a few of our favorite local spots to get you started!
Java Kai Coffee House
5-5183C Kuhio HWY
One of our favorite things to do in the
morning or early evening is to sit on the
front porch of Java Kai, sip a cup of their
amazing coffee, and people watch.
Located in the heart of Hanalei, this warm
and friendly spot is great for kicking back
and meeting some of the locals.
Massage Studio
Right next door, and upstairs, to Java Kai
is the best place to get a massage. Mia
and Maria are top notch therapists. One of our favorite treatments
is the rain drop massage.
Princeville Golf Course
princeville.com
Princeville has 45 of the most beautiful,
tropical holes of golf in the world. They
range along green bluffs that skirt
mountains and the bluest ocean,
offering stunning views everywhere
you look. Our condo is on the 9th hole
of the Makai course.
Blossoming Lotus restaurant
blossominglotus.com
Rated the #1 Vegan restaurant in
Hawaii, Blossoming Lotus offers
unreasonably tasty food for reasonable
prices. If you can eat vegetables, you can
enjoy a wonderful meal here.
Anara Spa
anaraspa.com
On the South side of the island, in Poipu,
is the best spa on the island. Anara is
located in the Hayatt Resort. If you want
to spend a day pampering yourself, this is
the place to do it!
Hanalei Fish Market
Located in Hanalei Family Center:
5-5299 C Kuhio Highway
Hidden behind a gallery called Ola's is the
Hanalei fish market and adjoining steak-
and-seafood restaurant, on the banks of
the Hanalei River. If you plan to cook
dinner in the condo, you can't find better
fish than this. We recommend going early
in the day so you can get the fish right
after it's loaded off the boat.
Hanalei Dolphin Restaurant
808 826-6113
Fish Market Hours: Daily 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Restaurant Hours: Daily 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Breakfast at the Princeville Resort
princeville.com
Just down the road of our condo is the
world- class Princeville Resort. We love
going there for the breakfast buffet on the
outdoor patio. The food is great and the
views are stunning!
Queen's Bath
Queen's Bath is one of the most unique
and refreshing swimming areas on the
island. The "pool" is carved into a lava
shelf overlooking the coast and is the
size of several swimming pools.
From Princeville, turn right onto Ka Haku
Road (there is a guard house at the
entrance). Go till you locate Punahele road
and take a right onto it. Just before the
dead end of Punahele you will see
Kapiolani. Turn right onto Kapiolani and
park just to the left on a stretch of grass
near the houses. Follow the dirt path
down to Queen's bath. Please note: Queen's Bath is closed during
Winter months.
